Growing Strong

For parents and the children they're raising

Strong children aren't born.
They're practised.

Add each child and their age. You'll get a ready-made set of the things they should be doing for themselves and around the house — every one with the reason it matters, a goal to hit, and a daily checklist they tick off themselves. They earn points for every job and grow a little plant friend as they go.

One minute to set up. Add your first child, then take the ready-made list or pick your own.

Every job comes with a reason

Children do things for themselves when they understand why it matters. Each job in the library carries the reason in plain words — so you can tell them, and they can read it back.

Brush my teeth in the morning

Ages 3–18 · Self-care · Morning

Strong teeth now mean fewer fillings and far less pain later — and the morning brush is the habit that sticks.

Tidy my own room

Ages 4–16 · My things · Evening

Their room is the one space they fully run — keeping it in order is proof they can take care of something of their own.

Feed the pet and refill its water

Ages 4–16 · Helping home · Anytime

Something living depends on them now. That's responsibility with a heartbeat.

Know what to do if I get lost

Ages 5–14 · Life skills · Anytime

A calm plan beats panic — and they'll only have the plan if you've practised it when nothing was wrong.

Know basic first aid

Ages 8–18 · Life skills · Anytime

The day someone needs a plaster or a cold cloth, they'll be the one who knows what to do.

Calm myself down when I'm angry

Ages 4–18 · Brave & kind · Anytime

Naming a feeling and choosing what to do with it takes years. Starting young is a gift.

How it works

1

Add each child and their age

Names, ages and a picture — that's all it takes. Younger children get different jobs to teenagers.

2

Take the ready-made set, or pick your own

Every age has a list written for it. Accept the lot in one tap, or browse the menu and choose the ones that fit your family.

3

They tick it off — and earn rewards

A morning, after-school and evening checklist, a reason behind every job, and a streak and goal to keep going. Every tick earns points toward rewards you set — and a little plant friend grows with them.

Start with one child and today's jobs
